Sr. Systems Business Analyst

Position Summary
Our client, who is in the educational space, is looking for a Sr. Systems Business Analyst with sharp problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and a strong technical background. In this role you’ll bridge communication between the technology and business teams to ensure technical solutions meet business objectives. You will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, communicating, and validating business and system requirements for strategic company initiatives. This is a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and is fully remote with EST working hours.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and end users to understand business needs and objectives for new products, features, or applications
- Employ various techniques to gather requirements including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and workflow analysis
- Synthesize and translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements specifications and documentation
- Build and prototype wireframes, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate requirements to development teams
- Conduct user acceptance testing and support quality assurance processes to ensure requirements are fulfilled in final product
- Develop comprehensive business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and return on investment rationales for proposed projects
- Continually refine and update documentation and specifications throughout development lifecycle as needs evolve
- Drive process improvements by monitoring business and system issues to enhance efficiency
Minimum Experience
- 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst in a technical environment
- Expert elicitation, analysis, documentation, validation, and communication skills
- Deep familiarity with software development lifecycles and methodologies
- Strong technical writing and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in synthesizing complex concepts and managing detailed requirements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills working with both business and technical teams
- Sharp problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset
- Plus- Experience with Salesforce, Vizio, and education market background

Salary / Wage Range
$40.00—$57.00 / hour
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. The Doyle Group offers a competitive rewards package, which includes a 401k, healthcare coverage and other benefits.
