Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior System Architect to lead digital transformation and application modernization initiatives within the Commercial IT team. This role will focus on supporting the ION RightAngle platform and collaborating closely with product owners, managers, and other architects to define and communicate the technical vision and roadmap for the ETRM product line. The ideal candidate will ensure solutions align with business priorities, strategic goals, and technical standards within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate technical vision and roadmap for the ETRM product line.
- Design governance and standards activities for technology architecture compliance.
- Participate in hardware/software technology and product standards selection.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure architecture alignment with business objectives.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks.
- Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into system designs.
- Design and implement end-to-end system architectures that meet business needs.
- Define system integration approaches and ensure interoperability of components.
- Provide guidance and support to development teams during implementation.
- Lead technology change initiatives and oversee implementation activities.
- Document and communicate architecture design and analysis work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field (required).
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience, including 2+ years in architecture roles.
- 5+ years of ION RightAngle experience (required).
- Intermediate experience with .NET/C# and SQL Server.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of complex, multi-application integration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Application Performance Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, App Insights, SolarWinds DPA).
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman.
- Exposure to DevSecOps, Cloud Computing, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Understanding of IoT, Edge Computing, and Process Orchestration concepts.
- Strong business acumen and strategic outlook.
Location
Hybrid schedule (4 days in office) in San Antonio, TX; Denver, CO; or Findlay, OH.
