| POSITION SUMMARY |
The SAP Application Administrator I will own two connected areas. First, this person will be the point of intake and triage for a substantial backlog of day-to-day SAP support tickets, changes, and troubleshooting — resolving what they can and routing the rest to the right owner. Second, they’ll manage the relationship with the company’s cloud infrastructure vendor, who maintains the underlying servers but relies on the client to identify issues, file tickets, and confirm resolution. That means owning a backlog of patches, updates, certificate management, and performance monitoring — not by doing the hands-on server work personally, but by understanding it well enough to manage the process and hold the vendor accountable.
This is not a pure SAP support role. While support work is part of the job, the client is looking for someone who can also engage with SAP module configuration and process improvements alongside functional leads and business users — someone who wants ownership of how the environment runs, not just a ticket queue.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the SAP Team Manager, with no direct reports.
This is a contract engagement (approximately 6 months, with possible extension). Given the contract structure, the client is open to fully remote candidates; candidates based in or willing to work hybrid from Broomfield, CO or Brooklyn Park, MN are preffered.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
