Project Manager (Maintenance Management Systems)

Position Summary
Our client, who is in the public sector, is embarking on a project to upgrade their current Maintenance Management System (MMS) and is looking for a project manager to oversee and keep the project on track, communicate with stakeholders and vendors, and lead change management efforts. The existing system, SAP Work Manager, will be replaced with the Trimble Unity Manager System. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience with Maintenance Management Systems, be a driven self-starter, inquisitive, and a strong communicator.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan detailing scope, schedule, budget, and required resources.
- Identify and ensure successful integration with other systems.
- Manage relationships with vendors and implementation partners to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables within budget.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
- Execute a communication plan, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and engaging with implementors.
- Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure alignment with organizational requirements and objectives.
- Develop and implement a change management plan, including communication and training strategies, to prepare end-users for system implementation.
Previous Experience
- Proven experience in implementing Maintenance Management systems within government organizations.
- Preference for candidates with experience in implementing Agile Assets or CityWorks.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resources effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success in a dynamic environment.
Salary / Wage Range
$55.00—$75.00/ hour
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. The Doyle Group offers a competitive rewards package, which includes a 401k, healthcare coverage and other benefits.
