Global Infrastructure Project Manager (Year long Contract)

Role Overview: Our global client has engaged us to identify a solid mid-level Project Manager to oversee two key projects.  One, is a hardware refresh project for their Japanese data centers which will require the ability to work early mornings and some late calls.  The second project will be focused on implementing a 4th instance to Oracle.  Oracle experience is not required.  The main technical skills for this project will require strong infrastructure hardware experience. To oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, including but not limited to, network upgrades, server deployments, and security enhancements.

As a Project Manager within our technology teams, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects across multiple teams, meeting client requirements and organizational objectives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of technology projects for various clients, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client expectations. 
  1. Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide regular updates, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. 
  1. Resource Allocation: Coordinate with resource managers to allocate personnel, equipment, and materials required for project execution, considering the needs and constraints of each client engagement. 
  1. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to project success, proactively addressing challenges and ensuring project delivery remains on track. 
  1. Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of deliverables and client satisfaction. 
  1. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to ensure projects are delivered within budgetary constraints. 
  1. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment conducive to achieving project goals. 
  1. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies to better serve clients and improve project outcomes.
