POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is a rapidly growing, cutting-edge technology company in the middle of a company-wide enterprise SAP implementation. As the program scales, the organization is building out formal governance, resourcing, and operating structures and needs a strategic Program Manager to lead that effort.
This role exists because the leader who has been carrying the program's governance and strategic function is transitioning out of the organization. The company needs someone to step into that gap: building the operating model, RACI, decision logs, and change-control processes that don't yet exist in written form, and helping the business and technical teams work from a shared, prioritized plan instead of shifting day to day.
This is a strategic, program-level role — distinct from the day-to-day SAP product/delivery management happening on the technical team. You won't be writing code or managing developers directly, but you will be the person who brings order, documentation, and stakeholder alignment to a fast-moving, still-maturing SAP rollout. You'll work closely with a lean internal technical team and an external systems integrator partner, and you'll be the connective tissue between business stakeholders (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, and others) who each have urgent, sometimes competing priorities.
The ideal person is a natural builder — someone who's comfortable creating structure where none exists yet, who can hold people accountable without being heavy-handed, and who earns trust across a team rather than trying to direct it. This is an individual contributor role with a dotted-line working relationship to the technical team's day-to-day project lead.
Location: Broomfield, CO preferred. Remote candidates will be considered for the contract phase; in-office presence (with relocation, if applicable) is expected if the role converts to full-time.
Engagement Type: This role is starting as an initial 6-month contract, with the intent to convert to a full-time position based on performance and business need.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
