Job Title: Agile Business Analyst (Contract-potential CTH)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Agile Business Analyst (BA) for a Fortune 500 client. This role is not a traditional Project Manager (PM) position but rather an IT-focused Scrum BA role. The ideal candidate will have strong PM and BA skills, be well-versed in the Agile framework, and have experience working with data teams. The candidate should be a go-getter who can keep projects on track and make things happen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Scrum Master and Business Analyst, facilitating three-week sprint intervals.
- Work with data teams, understanding basic data warehouse terminology such as ETL and Datawarehouse.
- Use Jira for Agile and Scrum framework tasks.
- Utilize WebEx-AI Assistant and Teams for generating meeting minutes and auto-capturing notes.
- Manage ServiceNow for requests and Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Operations teams to gather requirements.
- Refine sprint backlogs, perform retrospectives, and track velocity.
- Ensure seamless communication and coordination among team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong PM and BA skills with experience in Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Scrum Master certification.
- Experience with Jira
- Understanding of data warehouse terminology (ETL, Datawarehouse).
- Ability to work with AI tools like WebEx-AI Assistant and Teams.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and keep projects on track.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- PMP certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps.
- Experience working with data teams.
- Familiarity with Finance, HR, and Operations processes.
- Experience in generating meeting minutes and auto-capturing notes using AI tools.
Work Environment and Schedule:
- The ideal candidate will be able to go into the office two days a week in North Denver, but remote candidates are also welcome.
- Core hours are 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Mountain Time.
