Job Title: Power BI Developer
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6-9 months
Rate: $60-$75/hr
Introduction:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys transforming complex data into actionable insights. You will be working closely with our client's analytics team to create visually appealing and accurate reports that meet the needs of the Finance and Sales departments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the analytics team to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports focusing on key metrics such as Cash Flow, Sales Comparisons, and other financial indicators.
- Work with business users to replicate and enhance Excel reports in Power BI, ensuring the final output meets their expectations.
- Train and mentor a remote team of developers based in South America, helping them to improve their Power BI skills.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing Power BI reports.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
- Experience in creating complex reports and dashboards.
- Excellent understanding of data visualization principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with remote teams.
- Familiarity with financial and sales data.
- Previous experience in training or mentoring other developers.
- Knowledge of other data visualization tools and technologies.
