POSITION OVERVIEW
Join our team as a dynamic Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with a mission to establish and lead the QA function for our integrated solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to build and implement QA processes, test integrated software solutions, and ensure data validation. As a QA pioneer, you’ll shape the way we ensure the quality and accuracy of our systems. Additionally, your role will include assisting Business Analysts (BAs) and Project Managers (PMs) when needed, contributing to the overall success of IT projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a QA strategy and establish QA processes from the ground up for testing integrated solutions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate the configuration and data accuracy of technology solutions.
- Collaborate closely with solution providers, BAs, and other stakeholders to comprehend solution requirements and deliverables.
- Perform thorough testing of systems to identify anomalies, discrepancies, and data validation issues.
- Document and report any inconsistencies or defects found during testing, providing detailed information for effective resolution.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, scripts, and testing progress reports.
- Assist in enhancing testing processes, methodologies, and best practices specific to integrated solutions.
- Collaborate with BAs and PMs to grasp project scope, objectives, and timelines, offering QA insights and expertise.
- Provide input on user stories, requirements, and functional specifications to ensure testability and quality of integrated solutions.
- Offer support in project coordination tasks, such as tracking progress and providing status updates, when required.
- Participate in project meetings to provide QA insights, address concerns, and facilitate clear communication.
- Collaborate with QA team members to share knowledge, conduct reviews, and optimize the QA process.
- Exhibit adaptability by assisting other team members when necessary to support project coordination efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience (4 years) as a Quality Assurance Analyst, preferably in testing integrated solutions.
- Strong understanding of systems testing methodologies, test case design, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with testing tools and technologies, particularly for integrated systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail to identify configuration and data validation issues.
- Proficiency in creating clear and concise test cases and scripts for integrated solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and solution providers.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Willingness to assist team as needed, contributing to project coordination tasks.
Salary Range:
$85,000.00- $100,000.00 per year plus bonus, and is dependent on experience
Final compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. This role also offers a competitive rewards package, which includes a 401k, healthcare coverage and other benefits.
