We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Network Infrastructure Manager to join a client in the hospitality industry. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the network infrastructure of a diverse range of properties in the hospitality space. From understanding the intricacies of various network components to ensuring seamless operations, your expertise will play a critical role in the continued success of our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a profound understanding of vLANs, LAN/WAN infrastructure, OSI, and TCP/IP protocols.
- Utilize hands-on experience in network monitoring, diagnosis, and analytics to maintain a robust network ecosystem.
- Cultivate strong relationships with vendors through proactive management, emphasizing accountability and effective communication.
- Collaborate with vendors and IT team members to resolve issues promptly.
- Demonstrate a critical understanding of Firewall hardware and software, specifically FortiGate.
- Conduct thorough reviews and audits of firewalls, documenting and addressing misconfigurations, outdated rules, and vulnerabilities.
- Provide essential support to the IT team as needed, ensuring the continuous functionality of the network infrastructure.
- Adhere to established configuration and change management policies, ensuring successful implementation of network changes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process and support documents.
- Stay updated on Brand IT requirements and communicate updates to stakeholders.
Key Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in project management, IT auditing, PCI compliance, data security, firewalls, hospitality applications, server configuration and virtualization, networking, data circuits, remote access, data backup, disaster recovery, and telecommunication systems.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Experience:
- 4-5 years of experience in network design and engineering.
- 1-2 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a demonstrated interest in technology, whether in a property or corporate environment.
Education and Formal Training:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- CompTIA Network+ Certification.
Salary Range:
$95,000.00- $110,000.00 per year plus bonus, but is dependent on experience
Final compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. This role also offers a competitive rewards package, which includes a 401k, healthcare coverage and other benefits.
